  • Tax matters
  • Legal advice
  • Mortgage or lending advice

How We Get Paid (Commissions & Incentives)

We receive commissions from insurance providers, including:

  • Initial commission at policy setup
  • Ongoing commission for servicing
  • Commissions vary depending on the insurer and product type and may range from 0% to 230% of the annual premium.
  • We may also receive non-cash benefits such as training, events, or hospitality.

Nityai Financial Services Limited (trading as NFS Secure Dreams) is committed to transparency and delivering high-quality financial advice. We are dedicated to ensuring that the advice we provide is impartial, client-focused, and designed to achieve positive outcomes for you.

  • Disclosure of conflicts: We disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest that may influence, or be perceived to influence, the advice we provide.
  • How conflicts are managed: We follow a structured advice process that focuses on understanding your needs and recommending solutions that are suitable for your personal circumstances. Your interests are always prioritised.
  • Client awareness and consent: Where a conflict arises, we will clearly explain the nature of the conflict and how it is managed. We will only proceed once we have received your written acceptance.
  • Conflicts Register: We maintain a Conflicts Register, which records identified conflicts and the actions taken to manage or mitigate them. This register is regularly reviewed and kept up to date.

To protect your interests, we follow a structured advice process and ensure that all recommendations are tailored to your individual needs, goals, and personal circumstances.

Duties and Obligations

Under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013, we must:

  • Act in your best interests
  • Exercise care, diligence, and skill
  • Maintain professional standards and ethical behaviour
  • Any advice provided from this needs analysis is only as accurate as the information you provide. It is important that you supply complete and correct details when requested by your adviser.
  • If relevant information is not provided, there is a risk that the advice given may not fully suit your needs or circumstances. If you are unsure why certain information is required, please ask your adviser for clarification.
  • If any recommendation results in replacing an existing policy, the cancellation of that policy remains the responsibility of the client.

Privacy Statement

  1. We collect personal information as part of your needs analysis and treat it as strictly confidential. This information is stored securely in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.
  2. You have the right to access your personal information and request corrections at any time. We have processes in place to respond to these requests.
  3. Your information may be used by Nityai Financial Services Limited (trading as NFS Secure Dreams) and authorised team members to provide advice and services to you. It may also be shared, where necessary, with:
    • Product or service providers to implement recommendations
    • Compliance advisers, regulators, assessors, or claims investigators
    • Other professionals such as lawyers, accountants, mortgage advisers, or financial planners, only when required and with your approval or request
    • Where you hold insurance policies through us, insurers may provide us with ongoing policy information to assist with reviews and maintenance. You may also request this information at any time while your policy is active.
    • If your information is obtained from a third party, we will notify you of the details collected, the purpose of use, and your rights to access and correction, as required under the Privacy Act 2020.
    • Your information is securely held by Nityai Financial Services Limited (NFS Secure Dreams) and stored in our secure third-party CRM system.

Complaints Process

If you have any concerns about the financial advice or service provided, please contact us as soon as possible so we can address the matter promptly. You can reach our internal complaints service by phone or email. Please include the subject line: “Complaint – Your Name” and clearly outline your concern and the outcome you are seeking.

Our Process

  • Acknowledgement: We aim to acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours.
  • Recording: Your complaint will be logged in our internal Complaints Register.
  • Discussion: We may contact you or arrange a meeting to better understand your concerns.
  • Response: We aim to provide a written response within 2 working days of receiving your complaint.

External Dispute Resolution

If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may refer it to our external dispute resolution scheme, Financial Services Complaints Limited (FSCL). This is an independent and free service that helps resolve complaints.

Mortgage Advice

We are often asked whether we provide mortgage advice. As insurance specialists, we believe our clients benefit from receiving dedicated advice from mortgage specialists.

We recommend FM Northshore, who are licensed financial providers offering professional mortgage advice.
